I like the tone and smooth transitions of color, but I would say to push the contrast more and this would easily be rating higher. Glazing some browns and purples on the metals would definitely make them not look so rough.
Love how this is looking but to me it looks like an early WIP. Good control, like the skintone, but seriously lacking in depth. I feel that this could be taken so much further and warrent a solid 8. Also the pallette is very very similar, boots, cloth, hair, even the feathers, are not only a very similar color, but a very similar tone as well. I love a limited pallette but for me it needs a much broader range of tones if your going to have such a limited pallette.
