Nirnroot!!
This is only my second display piece, and I decided to base it on the worlds best game... Skyrim! I wanted to do something a little bit different and so I decided to paint her wearing Glass Armour as i've not seen this done before on a mini. I used Orki's nano-flake pigment stuff to get a really cool colour shifting effect, from greens to purples over a gold base. It's really hard to show in the pics but it looks awesome in real life! Just like one of them cool colour changing cars! The Nirnroot was a must as it is iconic to the Eldar Scrolls series, and gave me a good opportunity to try some OSL out and add a narrative to the scene (anyone that's played the game knows the feeling of discovering some more Nirnroot at the water's edge! ).
