Warmaster Tiranoc Chariots

These 3 chariots were great fun to paint. I think I did very well on the horses. They are all done in realistic colors gleaned from a Russian book on horses and no 2 are the same. I don't play warmaster and bought these by mistake when I was trying to buy a warmaster lot on ebay. I figured I'd make the best of it. The colors are based on the High Elf book so they can fit in anyone's army since I did them to sell. Two have dragon heads in a coppery metal and the other has a big gem on the front. The gem looks a little strange because I painted the light as though it were upper left but I photographed with the real light source upper right. Stupid, but I learned. The metals and gem are gloss coated, the wood, fabric and flesh are flat coated, and the horses are "satin" coated to sumulate the coat shine people put on show horses. I went to a lot of detail, even painting the eye whites and colors. The archers look the best. I'm going to find a separate place to post the WIP close ups that show that detail. Finally something was not right so I added reins cut from 32 gage bead wire painted black. As always I enjoy comments and feedback and keep in mind the size of these fellows. Check out my other warmaster stuff too!

Nice work Vince we will maybe convert you to 10mm scale yet! The only bit I don't really like is the shine they give off but other than that they are nicely done.

It is easy to pass these by, and not appreciate the tiny scale. You have done amazing things with them. I like that you didn't skimp on any details. Good work!
