Simply incredible. Maybe it's only carrying an 8.4 right now because people want to see a more battle-tested look, but frankly I find the "newly uncrated" look really refreshing.

The coolminiornot community has quite a few amazing painters, so I'll take the 8.4 rating proudly!I see all kinds of flaws and touches I could add...although I did spend almost 3 months staring at it. For example, I'd love to figure out how the painters over at ForgeWorld got the really nice 'greasy piston' effect. I've tried replicating with thinned oil paints on test pieces but just can't get it right.
