Thanks for the comments, quite rare nowadays, unless have exceptional painting! You are right for the basing, I concentrate more on the mini painting itself than the base, but I should put more effort on the base. The worst of it is that I have crushed glass and everything to do nice basing, just a bit lazy after spending so much time on the mini! I am still learning, I have so far finished less than 10 minis... but I am a bit stuck now, improvements are difficult to be done to go to the next step, patience will be the key!
Love the pants and flesh. I might use slightly lighter shades on the face to make it more of a focal point, and try some other material for the snow (baking soda and gloss varnish mix, perhaps? Or crushed glass?). Also, perhaps if you're putting snow down on the base, use a static grass mix with more brown in it to keep with the winter theme. Otherwise, I really like what you've done with this model.
