Response to Milosh. Totally understand that no attack meant, really pleased to see open and honest disagreement.

Let me start with saying I do not know the person who painted this bust I just want to put my feelings out there in response to the comment given. I must disagree with you mr. dragon on several points but agree with you on some of them. This is an excellent experiment with color and harmonizing the color throughout the entire piece. Yes the color was applied with a heavy hand in some places especially on the nose area, if this area was more skintone color we would be having a different discussion and the piece would get better feedback. The blending is quite excellent in most of the areas. The boldness of the color is what makes this less a miniature and more an expression of art. I do not see this metal area that you mention, this bust is cast from resin by Young Miniatures out of Korea with no parts being metal. I think the metal you see might just be some of the highlites giving the impression of a metal sheen. I personally embrace such experimentation with color in our hobby and hope to see more boldness in the future. Do not take this as a personal attack mr. dragon, your honesty and critique in this forum is very much appreciated by us all. You have helped many painters improve their skill including me.

Giving it a Comment Rating of 4 (not a vote) because the toning on the face is just too heavy handed. Yes there are tones of purple, grey, yellow reds and blues in human faces but not to this exent. these need to be blended in to show as tones below the skin not overpowering the skin tone. Also the basic colouring of the uniforn seems to show a metallic sheen indicative of no primer and bare metal painted too thinly upon.
