Manufactorum Warhammer 40K Terrain
My completed Manufactorum is based on a cut MDF clip-board I cut to 9x9 inches. The model sits on a paper stripped foam core foundation with a plasticard floor. I like this how it gave a more plausible realistic look. I airbrushed the based pre-shaded walls in Freak Flex Bewitched Blue. I like how it gave a steam punk victorian feel to the model. I made the back look like a blown out burned building that the elements have made there presence known. The rust is done with Secret Weapons Miniatures pigments. I used a six layer technique, I learned from Mr. Justin himself, Using a violet to a burning sand. Very time intensive, but worth it for the look you get. The mud puddle water effects is another S.W.M. product. The rubble piles are plastic sprue run through a $13 Walmart coffee grinder: a great tool for terrain and basing minis. Thank you for checking out my work all C and C is welcome. Sorry , my photo booth is a little small for this terrain piece.
