Just keep practicing, this is a good job for your first mini. Maybe check out some of the articles on this site. As for gettting the colours in the right place that will come with practice, keep painting:)
Well, the obvious first step is to keep colours in their place. For example, the scabbard is red but you put some red on the bow, you should have corrected this and covered the red with the bow's colour.
