I know it's Thrakka. That's why the pictures called Thraka! Doesn't stop him being my Warlord. I was going for the weathered look. Think I just need to go over him with some more dry brushing of a metal colour. Maybe add some browns to look like a bit of rust, but then I don't want him to look too broken down.
Thats not a warlord, that THRAKKA, some parts look good, others look terrible. try using much thinner coats of paint and try to paint in a manner you can repeat. if you look at the chunk of steel just above the blue portion of his claw the effect doesnt look bad kinda like slightly worn metal that hasnt begun rustin yet. im assuming that is the effect you weer going for on the entire model. find some plasticard(old dvd cases work good) prime them and try different things to see what works best for the effect your trying to accieve. im guessing your still new to the world of mini painting (as am I) this does look alot better than most of my early models. in closing. watch tutorials, Expiriment, ask for help... but above all have fun.
