Ryder I wouldn't take too much stock in the musings of someone who hasn't shown his own work. While the pictures could do with amalgamating into a single collage, its not the end of the world to have so many together. What you may find is more constructive criticism in the WIP section of the forums. There you'll get friendly and more importantly developmental aiding criticism from some knowledgable people. In regards to this miniature you seem to be relying heavily on washes to create the Highlight/shadow contrast personally I think working varations of tone of paint would give you a better result. These if I'm not mistaken are 1/48th scale figures?
