28mm British Celtic Chariots

Heavily modified Foundry minis. Scratchbuilt carnyx horn (boar standard bearer and horn player are both the same figure, originally a Celtic spearman), spiky hair, mustaches, etc. with greenstuff. Facial and body tattoos abound.

The two chieftain figures also started out as identical figures and the reigns were fashions from shaved down plastic. All finished in valejos and the horses with water-based oils with proper pony colorings of the region and period. Celts are always described of being fond of color so the chariots reflect that, though not overdone I think. No shield transfers. The guy showing off is a modified Alternative Armies miniature.
