Inquisitor Scale Vanguard (converted Artemis)

This guy is based on Battle Brother Artemis, with scratchbuilt jump pack and thunderhammer. Shoulderpads have been reworked and wristmounted boltpistol is built up from a ravenwing heavy bolter. Colours are those of my custom vanilla marine chapter that I started over 10 years ago. The simple basing is also for sentimental reasons, I've done my marines that way ever since I started. I had him on a imprinted plasticard base but changed my mind at the last minute. Prepaint picture included for showing what's scratchbuilt and how.

I think your conversion work is second to none, the jetpack and hammer are especially superb and very convincing (at first glance I thought it was an official character addon you'd managed to accrue) which is an impressive feat in itself. The painting is a little flat, not bad but lacking in detail, shading and effects for my tastes. It is an excellent mini though, you must be proud! :)
