Storm Eagle Conversion

Made from a Storm Raven and a dive into my bitz box. Tail was flipped to give it a profile more like the lander in Aliens. The missile launcher is made from the intake from the Storm Raven kit. It could use some weathering but for now I want a break from painting this thing.

Oh sorry, and the extra control surfaces were also plasticard.

The plasticard walls had techie bits glued to them, and begin roughly from the side door to the back plate that has the assault ramp. The sensor at the center of the missile pod is also a plastic bit from some other kit, and the the bottom parts of the missile pod are plasticard. I also extend the dorsal spine from the tail to serve as a mounting for the missile pod. Other than some FW icons I had cast for this project, the vast majority of the conversion parts are from the Storm Raven kit.

This thing is about 85% as cool as the real Storm Eagle, and about 350% as cool as the Storm Raven. How much of this model is not Storm Raven, besides details and guns?
