The robes, the gems, the cloak (love the blue fire blending into white!), the swirl he is standing on are great, very impressive and better than I could do. Easily worth an 8. However the red has little shading (apart from the collar) and little highlighting (apart from the staff). A more orangey highlight might also have served. The hair does not have enough contrast and the skin especially is very flat. The eye is too 'wide' (tall) and the gap between it and the pupil leaves a startled 'deer in the headlights' look. Also the colours on the staff a little gaudy for my tastes, even if they otherwise match the scheme. The only other thing is the base does not connect to the blue swirly thing, it doesn't interact though I can't think offhand how you would fix it. You got the skills, it just seems parts of the mini didn't get the same time commitment. Looking forward to seeing more from you. :)
