There's something happening here, I just can't tell what.
It's a very busy piece, and no single part of it draws your attention, so my eyes wander around it trying to figure out what I'm supposed to look at. Your banner is easily the most eye catching aspect of the mini, both in it's color & design, but it's also the most distracting. It seems to me that the point of the mini should be more about the action you've set up, and less about the fancy banner with things popping out of it.
Still though, a fine piece.
