I bought this leman russ to a friend, and it's true, I was so lazy, i don't fact the necessary for the guns.

I'm a newb when it comes to painting but one thing you can do to help is prep more before painting, the mold/seam lines are really evident on those guns. File or sand them down. I really like the mud and damaged plating too.
