Ive been looking at your work. I think you need to slow down a bit - the painting seems rushed. Pick a nice mini from a step-by-step guide and follow the steps and take your time.
Use a hair dryer to speed up the steps. If you take your time and follow the steps your painting will jump right up. Hope this helps :)
