this model i have been working on for some time. he was originally primed and painted after the version gw first released. since then, hes constantly been in a state of "work in progress", though i doubt ill ever be satisfied with him. so, none of the paint on him is going to be "finalized" until im done sculpting. sometimes i have a habit of slaping a coat of paint to see detail better, i dunno if other people do it, but it helps me see what i need to correct.
The underlying miniature looks quite good (other than the tail), but there seems to be something odd going on with your paint. Are you priming and base-coating the miniatures? What kind of paints are you using? It looks like it has rather poor coverage.
