Great start. Main observation is that the silver foil background is extremely distracting. Neutral, matt colours or plain white, please. Otherwise, it looks like good, solid painting, with a few touches of interest. The lighting, focus and size are good, although you could also afford to crop out a fair amount of the dead space.
