typhus host of the destroyer hive, take 2- painted!

here is my second attempt at the formidable typhus! i dont realy like the gw version so i thought id have a go at building my own from green stuff, bits from the bits box and a chaos devistator body, i kind of rushed the paint job a bit, i know i could of done better but how can you do a tidy paint job on a subject of nurgle? maybe someone one will teach me how to paint tidy but messy one day! :) hope you enjoy, all comments welcome, after all how can we better our painting with out bad comments as well as good? much respect Neil Thomas @ Conversion King's UK.

Really a nice conversion, I wish I could do with Green Stuff like that. But the paintjob doesn´t look so great, I too appreciate you prime the model in a mix of Dark Angels Green and Scorched Brown and then drybrush with various greens and browns, perhaps some highlights in Rotting Flesh and Bleached Bone too.

next time when painting nurgle's children start with dark brown mixed with dark green and work highlights up with white or bone added to the mix. it will certainly look more grim, not that plastic-toy feel. and spare your red for khorne.
