Squiggles.
Thanks for the feedback. I ordered it a new base. I'm gonna do what you suggested and will put it up when I have it done. With school kicking my rear right now, it will be a month or so.
I looked at it a bit more and noticed the hands seem to be much better than the other metalic parts, and if you extended that throughout it would look a lot better. Again, just my opinion :)
I think its a pretty good start. In my opinion, I think you could definitely use some washes and some highlights, it looks like you have a pretty smooth even cover for your colors, and thats good. But, I think the metalics could use a deep wash of black ink, followed with a little chestnut or brown further out, followed with a highlight in maybe a brighter silver, the beige color could use a nice brown ink wash, with maybe an ivory highlight to pick out the edges and raised parts, the gold could use a chestnut wash with a lighter gold highlight, you get the general idea. Just my two cents, I think it looks good so far, but I think its a little flat. Especially for a $125 model I think it deserves a little more attention to stand out! Good luck and keep it up!
