Elise the Witch

Happy Halloweeeenhhngskjfmsmpgmhmgffff.... yes, I know it's Christmas already. But atleast I finished the mini! I think I'm starting to get full of this blue colored crusade of mine: I've painted 3 blue hued minis in this year and have few in WIP stages too. But I'm getting hang of it, which was my goal. Have to mention that I haven't ever painted shiny black surfaces before. So, to avoid bad mistakes, I went with the (oldish) 'eavy Metal style. Somewhat content with the outcome. Also tuned my lighting set and I wouldn't have thought I could work without my photoshoot tent. Fatherly pat for me.

Best and most original version I've seen. Night-time color scheme is spot on, and the little "moonlight" highlights are an excellent detail.

Thanks! (Shawn, that's just too awesome avatar by the way). It was the most useful brainwave for myself to understand that I don't need to use the full spectrum of white-yellow-orange-red axis to paint fire. Bright yellow and orange just did the trick, plus some orange-ish brown and hint of green on the borders.
