Colossal Red Dragon
I'll be honest, I'm more of a terrain guy than a minis guy, but I thought I'd try my hand at painting this big red beast and putting him on a new base. He may not be an award winner, but I think he looks a lot better than the stock paint job, and right now I've got to clear some space in my game room and in my budget, so I guess I've got to let him go. Painted with acrylics, I used wood stain to do the wash, sealed with matte krylon. The base is hand made, the stone is foam, painted with acrylic and high gloss medium to make it look like obsidian. The lava is vinyl spackle, painted and sealed.
