I've been out of painting for more than 6 years now, and I'm just getting back in. Thought I would upload one of Minis and see what people think. Any comments or critques are welcome.
I agree with LouisCypher and to add to his thought, I feel like the gems let the model down. They feel too flat. There is a good article about painting gems here on CMoN. Keep up the nice work. :)
i think that bone is very very good and the blending on the sword is good, too, but i'd go with another highlight on the vest to get a more dramatical effect
