Just another mini

I am a new painter and i would like some pointers on how to make a Nice mini. I postet this so you Can see my level of skill this took my about 3 hours to make. I dont want to here about how lame it is ore some shit about how bad a painter i am i want good solid advice and i Will post more pics of how my skill hopefuly gets better

I think this is a decent start! I also am a new painter so take my advice with a grain of salt... Mainly, to me, it looks like you might want to try thinning your paints more (assuming you thin them at all). It looks a little, um, "gloppy" in the face. Also, the highlights on the gloves look a little off, perhaps an additional transition color would help smooth it out a little. That said, I think your metallics look nice, the cuirass and hammer seem well done to my eye. Also the beard and the wood grain on the broken shield look pretty good too! Keep at it, the best way to improve is practice!
