Well, this is the most fun miniature i have painted so far! I have only been painting for about six weeks now, but i'm quite happy with the way this one turned out. I was trying to keep the colours dark, which was a challenge. Painting the robe was also quite a challenge, but i like the way that purple colour turned out. As always, feel free to comment about anything :)

Like the cloak effect - try more intermediary colors between your base color and your top highlight color, it'll be more of a blend. You might also want to make the face a bit more defined, by making the recesses a darker brown. Six weeks? Incredible!

Good job on the cloaks, but the brown areas still look a bit like plastic. Try some heavier highlights, brown isn't the easiest color to do! :)

Nice highlighting work on the purples and black. I like how rotten the bones came out. But the browns need more attention. They lack the highlights the other colors got. As for the sythe, try giving a wash of bestial brown. It gives it a nice rusted look.
