The Che
On the basis of a 54 mm Figone miniature called "Grey Mage" I transformed that mage into a typical Imperial Warhammer 40K preacher . The changes are both important and scarce. - The pointy hat becomes a beret. - The stick exchanges emblem - A skull takes place of the leaf clasp. The holes in the cloak are the origin of the transformation. The figurine had so many "air bubble" holes that they made me think of bullet hits. Bullet hits on a mage?? This idea radically changed the feeling of the figure and its history. Very quickly the resemblance with Che Guevara appeared hence the name "Che." A revolutionary in the world of 40K seemed such a shift that I made want to bring it to life. http://dt-studio-miniatures.over-blog.com/article-le-tche-115253470.html **** Sur la base d'une figurine 54 mm Figone appelee "Mage Gris", j'ai transforme ce mage en precheur imperial typique de Warhammer 40000. Les changements sont a la fois importants et peu nombreux. - le chapeau pointu devient un beret - le baton change d'embleme - un crane prend la place du fermoir en forme de feuille. Les trous dans la cape sont a l'origine de la transformation. La figurine etant "bullee" a ce niveau a un tel point que cela m'a fait penser a des impacts de balles. Des impacts de balles sur un mage?? Donc changement radical d'ambiance de la figurine et de son histoire. Tres vite la ressemblance avec Che Gevara est apparue d'ou son nom "Le Che".
