My entry to the Chicago 2011 Golden demon. The base is sculpted with super sculpy, I used the rounded end of a brush to make all the sand lines. Then painted the whole base brown and air brushed one side yellow. The models bases are greenstuff and some of them have greenstuff to help blend their pose coming from the sand. Very excited cause I got a Demon :)

Great job. You can tell that a lot of work was put into it, even though the end result is clean and almost simple looking.

Truly excellent work! This entire concept tickles my fancy of Necrons crawling out of the ground; the dissonance of something ancient and slumbering having the element of surprise. The poses work well; the movement is very natural as to how something shifts out of the moving surface of sand. Overall, I only have one complaint; I wish the picture was larger, as your details are quite exquisite.
