Agreed the mold line where I added the eye is a rookie error, I hope it will get covered when the worm/maggot is added to the other eye socket. Thanks for the feedback and your positive response to my little project. I will be posting a finished image as soon as I get it done..
Great conversion work but I can clearly see the mold line running down the middle of the head! That is easily cleaned up, know your basics!! :)
The colors are cool, I like the organic crab shell look, the pose is good. It looks angry and ready to strike BUT since this is a WIP piece i guess we'll have to wait and see the final results. It's certainly a cool looking conversion, not everyday you see a Dark Eldar Wraithlord.
As a past IPMS judge, I'd knock off serious points for that mold line on the head if this was ever entered in a contest, just saying.
In 28 years of gaming and mini painting I hardly ever finish anything. I post unfinished stuff on here for the helpful comments and advice, which sometimes spur me in with new inspiration to finish.
