Great Unclean one

Hey! Why isn't this Great Unclean One green?!? I wanted to paint him to look as though he has lividity, (thats the pooling of blood in the body, which gives a purple bruising look) which isn't easy on a model thats supposed to be able to move around! I think all in all it turned out pretty good, I want to practice it more and then maybe do a article on painting dead things (eeew). Anyway, I removed the big chain thing in his left hand (anyone know why he's dragging that around?) and positioned the right sword arm a little more forward. The sword has some yellow glossy "pus" on it, although it doesn't show really well. In the backside picture, you can see he didn't wipe his... well you can see why he's "unclean". (hey I didn't sculpt that, I just painted it). Let me know what you think, comments always welcome!

I'm tempted to say 8, but I'm feeling cheeky! I think the purple-red-bruising effect works exceptionally well here. Great to see The Unclean One painted another colour other than green/brown. I think the effect achieved is almost psychedelic and, believe it or not, refreshing. The mouth looks glossy and the sword looks impressive. The butt is a nice little addition, too.
