Games Workshop Orc Boy Alternative Skin

First model i've painted in over 5 years. I was very limited on colours, most had dried up; hens the odd scheme. I struggled trying to highlight the flat areas without it looking like utter crap. I've never been that great at painting though, I should practice wet blending especially on those big flat areas on the legs and back. Any tips welcome.

good skin, nice choppa and shield. i draw grayscale(3 or 4 steps gray-to-white in that manner: gray[clear visible at selected angle of view]-lighter[elevated parts of surfaces]-...-white[strong blicks and sharp edges]) before color overlay when paint such places(and entire orks). This way needs many painting before you wil see actual result, but i like this path for now. When your work will like b/w photo - cower with thin color layer(if you will paint thick - it will shades more light from undercoated white).
