Lylyth, Herald of Everblight

Local gaming store had a painting contest "heroes of miniature worlds" and I participated, naturally. There were going to be many scifi and masculine models, so I wanted my hero(ine) to stand out from the crowd by picking Privateer Press' busty warlock character Lylyth. This was a challenging miniature, because I've never been particularly good at shading cloaks, capes and other big clothes. The rest of the miniature was easy to paint after I got her cape done. I had to lower my painting level in the end though, because deadline started to loom behind the corner, but I had enough time to try eye-catching OSL technique. I was one of the winners, by the way.

Thanks! I haven't done OSL often, so it's a miracle it looks that good.

Awesome work, she's gorgeous. The OSL is nicely done, I love it when people use understated OSL.
