Commissar Karol of the Kozaki Sturmregiment
Hi folks :) Here's a picture of my Imperial Guard's fearless leader - Kommissar Karol. Not only that, he's also the first miniature of said guard army I painted - the other ones are still hibernating in their transport boxes, eagerly awainting paint&glue. Can't tell you a lot about his story, as he hasn't been in an awful lot of games yet, but one thing is for sure: Karol HATES Dark Angels. Why? Simply because they always seem to steal his victories, his glory and his chance to prove his devotion to the Emperor. That's why he's totally into fighting them whenever they come in sight. That and also the fact that a friend of mine always wanted to do two things: a deathwing army and a larger modelling and painting project together with me. So... what's better than creating a character who absolutely hates his guys' guts? :D --- concering the picture: I just built a new lightbox (thanks to MASSIVE VOODOO's fantastic tutorial - these guys are nuts!) and had to try it out - for some reason, though, my camera doesn't like the new lighting. So I had to adjust the pictures' brightness, which is responsible for possible differences in... well... brightness :) C&C (also concerning photography!) greatly appreciated!
