I wanted to do a different colour scheme than the normal silver, I went for a dark blue scheme, with the runes glowing bright orange like they were on fire. I went for a very subtle highlighting on the main armour with a sharp highlight on the edge, although it doesn't look quite so harsh in real life.

Actually, the shield has the english flag painted on. The swedish flag is a yellow cross over blue blackground.
