I like the look of it, but it does seem a little glossy. Have you sealed it or is it just the paints you used. If you are finished with the model I would suggest getting a matte anti gloss sealer put on it.
This model was a salvage piece. If you notice the melted metal on the shoulders it looks like the person I got it from had used a two part metal epoxy to "weld" it together.
