The Zen of All Monsters
Zenzilla, I was meditating in my rock garden when the light of divine illumination came to me. I'd been painting a couple more of the Mike Parks zillas I have (see Batzilla in my gallery) and I thought I should sculpt my own. So I sat down and cranked him out. He is a head to toe sculpt using plasticine clay and then molded and cast in resin. He's a breaze to paint dk green base, dry brush of medium green and lt green dry brush on the highs. Eyes teeth and nails in Ivory, then chesnut wash, Ivory again and then white highlights. I like my Zillas with blue eyes, but that's not an official color. I hope he makes you smile as much as he does for me. Garyo
