I don't remember which color I used but
I only have the 3 GW golds. And I might have used chestnut ink on the gold.
The metal effect on the purple is drybrush.
I quite like this version. At least you can see the detail which I haven't been able to on a lot of St. Marks. Is that metal medium you have added to your paints?, 'because although it has given a metallic effect, it also looks very grainy...
I'm also not too sure about the purple...it almost works...but then again....
