Elia Shadowfeet, Female Halfling

She was half painted for months now since she 1st came out and I was fed up with staring at her on my table. Finally just grabbed her to finish her and let her be. One main reason for putting her off was cause of my insecurity on painting Garrity's eyes. But I think she came together well in the end. I wanted her to be all in earth tones and since she didn't have a lot of metalic stuff on her, I stayed with NMM for once, instead of mixing in metalic paint. She seemed out of scale with the crossbow she came with, so I removed it. And didn't want to cover up my highlights on her bags. Since she was so small and already sturdy on her base, I decided to not add more height on her by adding her to a round base. This way, she's more to scale when compared to a humanoid with an additional base. Hope you enjoy!

Hi, lovely model! I was wondering how you did the flora on the base?

Thanks guys. The floral stuff I found in craft stores devoted to wreaths and organic type decorations. There's a a few city blocks devoted to this hobby here in Manhattan (NYC). I can guess for you folks out west to find them in normal craft stores. And of course woodland scenic stuff helps adds to the flowers around them. Though I don't think you can see them at this angle. Foliage is nice too, no? :)

Lovely work and choice of colours. The highlighting of the pouches is good, and I think your choice of hair colour has made the figure. Well done! Thanks for sharing it with us! PS. The base is fantstic....can you PLEASE let me know where you got dressings from??
