Yes, there is a texture on the water ( Water effects from Woodland Scenics).But with this angle doesnt seem 3 dimensional, i know.If you want to see an upper angle go to my page or in ebay.
When i see a mini , i have a first vision how to paint it and where he is.How yo can see, i imagine him near the water, with the splash under his foot.But its very difficult give to this vision a natural look :)
