Carrowek is one of the Ysian generals from Mierce Miniatures Darklands game. He's also one of my favorites from their range.

Have to agree about the base, it does need more work. I was painting this for a competition and ran out of time and had to go with what I had.

Man that is some super sweet painting. That horse looks epic, like one of the American Indian horse breeds. How did you get the skin tones to look that smooth cause I always, ALWAYS struggle with horses. As for the base, I have to agree with 'eljotaeme', it's pretty poor in comparison. I think if you were to build up layers of cork rather than just using a sheet. Maybe you could use some turfs too on the top. The Voodoo boys are good with basing if you want inspiration or check out Jakob Nielsen's basing guide, it's pretty sweet! http://www.jrn-works.dk/ Hope I haven't been too negative. For the paint alone I'll give you a 9. Sort that base and I'll make it a 10!
