Thank you very much for the input! i do agree that there are several things i could have done better. the trees are black spruce branches that were cut because they had branches in every direction rather then just out to the sides. was not sure how to go about doing the grass. thinking about it now i should have done dried herbs sprinkled everywhere, mostly around the trees. the wooden (chassis?) of the diorama could probably have been better shaped but i was not sure how it would turn out so i figured this was a good starting point. i am thinking of doing another diorama at some point. i found games workshops miniature of the chaos lord on juggernaut, and ideas sprang to mind about a dark style rider in frozen ruins. something along the blanchitsu art style.

There are things I like and dislike about this piece, but overall it shows that you likely learned a lot. The figure itself is well done. Muted, earthy, and in many ways a horrific automaton of nature that I think the sculptor would enjoy seeing. The diorama detracts from this image though. While the colors of the dio work, the execution is flawed. I think you could have been more selective when picking the trees. And some of the vegetation isn't working as it looks too artificial. I find that, when mixing real plant life with artificial plants, it sometimes ruins the entire look. There is nothing more challenging for some than composing a scene that is powerful yet doesn't detract from the mini. So while I point out the deficiencies, I admit that it is challenging to fix them. Good work overall.
