Ulthwé Farseer vs Flesh Tearers Contemptor Dreadnought Duel Golden Demon UK 2013 finalist

This was my entry in the Duel category of Golden Demon UK 2013, it got a finalist medal. I got the idea for this when the plastic Farseer came out, and I always had a Contemptor in mind as the opponent. I chose the Flesh Tearers because of the colour scheme, their ferocious character, and because I wanted both models to be neither "good" nor "bad". Ulthwé is probably my favorite Craftworld, I just love their look and feel, and only added a Wych head to the otherwise unmodified, awesome plastic kit. This was really fun to make, hope you like it. I've had the pleasure of seeing this in the flesh and it's even more awesome than in these photos! I love the attention to detail and posing. The color scheme is perfectly balanced and the painting superb!
