While I think this is a really nicely painted model, black is very hard to paint and make it look good, but you have done a really nice job on it. However the bottom tip (claw bit) of the weapon looks like it's not quite had it's final highlight. I would have also liked to see maybe a brown lined texture on the claws and hooves to make them stand out from the black chitin. I think this model deserves about a 7.5, but with sharper highlights and the things mentioned above this would be an 8. The colour of the base and the blue contrast nicely with the black and pale skin, so overall, good work!
