Eldar Avatar (Statue of Khaine conversion)
Just finished on of my most pleasurable to do conversions to date: The Dark Elf Statue of Khaine into my new Avatar for my Craftworld. It is after all the embodiment of the same God! I had to change some things for sure to make it more craftworld, especially the wings on the helmet. I used a donor model (Avatar torso and sword from ebay) The chest piece especially was a bastard to saw off without ruining it! With some judicious use of a saw and pinning, along with green stuff sculpting (I am particularly pleased with the flowing tabard) my Eldar will be surely be triumphant!
