Thanks for the comments, and I'll keep in mind your thoughts about highlighting. I'd take better pictures if I could but the model was sold as soon as it was painted. Thanks again for taking the time to write a thoughtful post and I'm glad you like the piece.

Very rustic feel to this big bad boy!! First off its a helluva piece to tackle! You've done a pretty good job overall. Just keep practicing the more advanced techniques like the two brush blending or layering which ever you prefer, the non metallic metal or senmm, and zenith all lighting. The one thing I would have done differently and that doesn't mean it would've looked any better than the wonderful job you've done here, but I would've gone and did the highlights and covered a little more of the shade beneath. It looks like there is too much underneath color showing like a huge black lining idea. And I also might have added a 4th and 5th highlight working all the way up to white in some places. Overall like I stated mr Lacey this is a FANTASTIK job on a pretty darn big model. Nice results sir! Happy new year.
