My Daemon Prince of Khorne WIP Closer view

This is not pink :) This is Red Gore, I used it as a base coat to Blood Red, 'coz I couldn't cover black with Red, and new nothing about layering... I'm glad that I know it know and tried it on my Bloodletter for the first time... Thanx to everyone for comments, it's a kind of flatter for me to recieve comments. And thanx for the advices - I keep them in mind.

Rating WIP is always tricky, but 4.5 at time of writing is a bit harsh! I think, finished, this will be a good 6.2 or so. The shiny, bloody red is great and the flesh tones look pleasingly morbid. I'm not sure where you're going with that purple though - more of the red would be better.

I like the pink. It looks kind of creepy, like some new flesh comming out of the old or something, but the color choice is just a matter of taste. What you realy have to do is to thin your paints with water. Espacialy the red. More thin covers ar much better then one thick. If it won't cover at all, try to mix it with some brown for the first cover. I achieved quite good results with a mix of Bloodred and Vermin Fur from GW and don't forget the water.
