Unholy Warrior

Hi everyone. This is my fifth mini so far--took me like four days but I'm pretty happy with the results on some parts; also feel like I'm just guessing with other parts. So, any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

i give a ten for the fact that this is your fith mini!!! other wise i'd rate it 6.8. i personally am not a fan of the heavy handed and wide spread use of nmm especially on a model with an overly characatured spulpt. anyway as to the previous coment on the cloak's coloring weither meant or not the bluish accent could be a reflection of light from a near by object. i don't think you should worry about that anyway keep painting the way you do and you will kick A$$ in no time flat

The blending job on the cloak is nice and smooth, but the colour selection doesn't look right to me. I'm no expert, so take this with a grain of salt, but when I blend I usually use only two paints, and mix them in various ratios. Between the black shadow and the red highlight, there's a bluish grey that doesn't seem to fit. Same on the face mask and loincloth - it looks as if they're reflecting firelight. For a fifth minature - phenomenal! The bright highlight at the top of the axe blade is very effective, and the NMM gold on the shield is really striking. This is NMM done properly - when it evokes the feel of gold better than gold paint would.

You have a good grasp of highlight placement in NMM (better than I have, at least -_-), but you need to water down your paints in order to achieve smoother blending.
