Duel of truths - Word Bearers focus
This was a gift for my brother-in-law who showed interest. The idea was to make a mini diorama, at least when you face the two minis against each other :), depicting a classic grudge match between an Ultramarine champion and a Word Bearers Chosen. Both factions believe they have the truth; lets see who's truth is sharpest! The Word Bearer was to be the perfect foil of the Ultramarine; tainted physically (mutated), mentally (his crazed, "I don't give a crap about safety and I'm about to rip you apart with my spikes, claws, scythes, and axe!"), a force of careless destruction, and just evil. I kit-bashed him from several kits and did minor conversion work. Had I had more time I would have black-lined the recesses and highlighted the armor. It was a last-minute project and I did it all in one night. Either way, I'd like to hear how to improve, so please criticize :)
