Wood Elf Archer

This mini is a commission of sorts for my uncle, who recently took up archery (Saggy fez hats like this guy's are surprisingly rare these days among real archers, apparently). I'm quite happy with the way it turned out, though perhaps the arrows could have been better-crafted. They look good sticking there though. The leaf litter is Italian seasoning, generously clearcoated for durability. This is also the first mini I've done proper gems on! More pics.

I never would have guessed Barkel's grandfather was a gay pimp. Anyway, I really like the arrows. They actually look fairly realistic for what they are. The skin is perfect. I'd suggest you string the bow is all.

That is Italian seasoning? That base is awesome. I do agree that the arrows are a little underdone, but they are the only thing on the mini that is not at least an 8. I like the fez. It's very 50's-gay. With the fur lined cloak it's almost a 70's-pimp, but it could also pass for my grandfather. It's a very nice job. I'm hung up on the base, which is fantastic. Those herbs add a lot of spice to the mini. Did you paint the herbs, or is that their natural color?
