Hey Morglum' thank you for the vote and comment, extremely generous of you. I do hope to complete a tutorial regarding the technique used but it would be a shame not to let you know now. I used the "Solid Water" which can be found here: http://www.deluxematerials.co.uk/pages/scenicproducts.htm - I applied several layers of sellotape equally aligned around the base to ensure a "water" tight area; I poured in the mixture as directed and waited 24-48 for it to be completely set. Hope that helps :)
